Right next door to the famous Wimberley Pie company on one side and the Burger Barn on the other. The Burger Barn for years had a sign that read, "The Best Damn Burgers in Texas". Guess we got more civilized but the Burgers didn't, still the best. If you want to graze on Timothy rather than Rye hay there is also a 'Chriswell's' restaurant close by (7 min. drive) that employs two chefs from New Orleans.
The furniture in the WPA is over stuffed, the bed is queen size, handmade red cedar. The floors are solid pecan as are the bookshelves and cabinets. The carpet is so thick you leave footprints. And the Shower is big enough for two with a rainbird head and 100 gallons of, on demand, hot water. You may grill a steak on the deck or prune yourself up in the hot tub. You probably won't want to leave. I don't.
